The IU Southeast Graphic Design Prospectus was created to promote the Graphic Design program at IU Southeast. The Prospectus is designed during the Design Center class where there is a team of graphic design students who take photos, design the page layouts, collect student work, create graphics, and write the text for the book. The students working on this project were to follow all the IU branding guidelines along with the Fine Art department's requirements for program promotions.

I was the Head Layout Designer and Photographer for the 2018 edition of the IU Southeast Graphic Design Prospectus, 52 pages. I was working for the Project Leader, Dr. Kok Cheow Yeoh (IUS Graphic Design Area Coordinator) at the time where I was able to collect student's work and text for the booklet much more easily. We would spend hours in his office working on the booklet...working on text and page layouts. I was kind of like the assistant project leader because I held the master InDesign files, photos, and text. I gathered the other layout designer's pages, photos, and graphics and added them to the master file.

Holding this position, I have learned how to follow branding guidelines, better my communication skills to gather and collect information or photos, and proper image modes for exporting.

I am so thankful to be apart of such a huge project that promotes the graphic design program that I am apart of at IU Southeast and the Design Center program that teaches students how to handle client works. Not only that, I love the major and school I go to.
