Blake's Detailing
A high school classmate posted on social media he was looking for someone to create a logo for his car detailing business. Of course, I hopped on and said hey man I'm going to school for graphic design, let me do it!
He was looking for a 50's vibe with a car, so I simply searched online for inspo.

My professor in college always wanted us to start with sketching, and he's totally right. When starting a new project, my sketching isn't always drawings but keywords and reminders.

I chose my top three designs and began tinkering with different typefaces.

After sending the top three to the client, he chose his favorite. I then began with black and white versions of the logo.

Researched a few 50's inspired color palettes...with the client's colors in mind: black, grey, red and navy.

Final logo.
